1. WHAT IS E-COMMERCE?

E-commerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the buying and selling of goods or services using the internet, and the transfer of money and data to execute these transactions.


2. HOW DOES IT WORK? 

Browse, place your order and pay online or in person. Simply sign up, sign in and create your user profile. Choose a merchant and create your order from their menu/catalog. After your order is created you will be able to pay in person with cash, credit/debit card, or online with PayPal. You will receive a call, email notifications and/or WhatsApp messages through the entire process. 


3. DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

If you are ordering through our website or app, yes. There are a few things we need from you so that your order can be processed and so that we know how/where to make the delivery  e.g. name, address, email, number. If you are ordering through WhatsApp, we will need the same key details already mentioned.


4. HOW ELSE CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY?

Go-Gettas accepts orders via WhatsApp, our website and our app. 


5. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES GO-GETTAS ACCEPT?

Go-Gettas accepts cash on delivery, card on delivery, and online payments via PayPal.   


6. IS MY FINANCIAL INFORMATION SECURE?

We want you to feel safe while shopping with us. Your security is our #1 priority. Our website features Secure Sockets Layer(SSL) and, in short, it's the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems, preventing criminals from reading and modifying any information transferred, including potential personal details.  For processing payments, we use an online payment gateway provider's platform that was created by industry experts who have established partnership with the wider payments industry: from expected partners—local banks, major card networks, the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI Council)—to the unexpected—the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), internet browser providers, and industry associations.  The data entered into our payment form is never sent to our server, instead, the data is sent directly to our payment gateway provider,  which is more secure because a breach of our server won't result in any stolen data. It is encrypted at rest with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) and encryption keys are stored on separate machines. The cipher AES-256 is used among other places in SSL/TLS across the Internet. It's considered among the top ciphers. In theory, it's not crackable since the combinations of keys are massive. 


7. IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?

No. There is no minimum order amount requirement.


8. DO YOU CHARGE VAT?

Go-Gettas does not charge VAT on our services. However, there are some businesses on our platform that do and there are some that do not.  All merchants that charge VAT we have made their prices VAT inclusive, there will not be an additional amount on checkout. What you see is what you get.


9. WHAT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?

We’re here to help. Once you’ve placed an order, just contact our support team via WhatsApp, our app, or our website and we’ll take care of your issue.


10. WHAT IS THE DELIVERY RANGE?

We cover parts of Freeport for delivery. Whether it be to your home, office, hotel, or vacation rental. At the moment, we only deliver in specific areas. Having our couriers go too far out compromises food quality and delivery times with restaurants. We're working on increasing our delivery coverage.


11. HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

Our average delivery time is 30-60 mins, delivery times vary. Busy restaurants may take longer but we will try to have your order to you ASAP.


12. DO I HAVE TO SIGN FOR MY ORDER?

We know it can be inconvenient to stay at home to sign for your order but our company requires an e-signature for all orders.  An adult (18+) e-signature is needed for all alcohol and medication deliveries at the time of delivery. Sorry but your neighbor cannot sign for the order. There are no exceptions. These measures are very important in making sure no minor is exposed to contents they should not have in their possession or none of your items are removed from the order without the consent of the person that placed the order. If an adult is not available to sign for the order at the address, we will make another attempt to deliver. After the second attempt, the order will be discarded. Then a subsequent fee will be applied to have your personal courier come out again.
